So cloud prevented us seeing the winter eclipse on the morning of the 21 December and for the 8 souls on Bournemouth beach for the 22 December we missed the sunrise for the Winter Solstice ceremony again because of cloud. You poor reader cannot see the photos we took because of a technical glitch and I cannot put a picture on the website (yet, so stayed tuned).
However the ceremony was lovely, pagan and interfaith entwined with a calling in of elements, incense, chant, meditation, healing and words sent to the world via a sky lantern. I will tell you the five words in a later blog, but what five words would you have sent to the world on such a cold morning before your mince pies and hot chocolate?
Love to hear them so please post a reply.

12 days to Christmas and only 8 days to the winter solstice on 21 December at 11.38pm. I wander what kind of sky we will be blessed with on the night and the fullness of the moon?
Love Noel.
As we come to the end of November, longer nights and the start of colder weather for many with the preperation for the Christmas season in full swing, adverts everywhere to buy this year's latest something. At this time what we feel in our hearts. in the centre of our being?
Are our hearts full of holy spirit? Does the name of God, or whatever name we have for our divine presence, pulse through our minds and our bodies with every breath or are we distracted?
Two questions, does the distraction (whatever it may be) make you happier than knowing the divine within you? If it does is the distraction real and going to last a lifetime, if it is not real, what will you be left with when the distraction is gone when the Christmas holidays are over?

A lovely email came into my inbox this morning and it made me think. It said this;
I invite every minister, every priest, every rabbi, every teacher, every guru, every Master, every president, every prime minister, every king, every queen, every leader, every nation, every political party to issue one statement that would heal the world:
OURS IS NOT A BETTER WAY, OURS IS MERELY ANOTHER WAY. (from Friendship with God by Neale Donald Walsch)
It stopped me for a moment, is it that simple? Can we heal all our differences, end all war and bring peace, by just saying this one line to one another? More importantly can we be the words and act them out every day in every deed?
As an Interfaith Minister do I think my way of ministry is better than another minister's? Do I feel more connected to the divine than someone from a particular faith (or no faith)? If I answer no is it true? Does ego play a part in this and say to me "because you say you do things another way, it is really because you think it is better"?
